If you agree that Galloway deserves to be Scotland's next National Park, why not join us?
Membership costs just £5. This goes directly to support the work of the GNPA, promoting our region at all levels and galvanising public support for the process of designation. Membership also gives you a stake in the organisation and entitles you to attend and vote at the AGM.
We want our membership to include everyone who supports our cause, so stay in touch with our progress and lend a hand.

Please note all applications will be confirmed following their acceptance by the Board of GNPA. All communications from GNPA will be by email.
The membership form is also available to download HERE and it should be returned to the GNPA Membership Secretary with a cheque for £5.

You will get a “Count me in” logo for your website and social media and we will send you a window sticker to help spread the word.
Post an image of your window sticker on social media and we will give a prize to the most creative use of it.

These are really difficult times for many businesses so there is no fee for becoming a Business Champion.
If you feel able to make a donation that would be great and would help the cover costs but your support in promoting the cause is equally valuable.

Aged between 13 and 30?
Worried about your future, climate change or just wondering if there will be any jobs?
We believe that if Galloway was made a National Park then some of these worries, we all share could be helped. A National Park is not a cure-all but it would give local people the power to make a difference and will create new highly skilled jobs.
National Parks look after the environment and support the local communities by encouraging the sustainable use of our resources
COP26 will put Scotland in a spotlight because one of the targets that countries have signed up to is to protect 30% of the land for nature. Scotland lags behind England with only 22.7%. If we are to play our part in the worldwide effort to combat climate change then we need to get not one but two more National Parks in Scotland.
