Scottish Government Kicks off National Park Consultation

With a commitment to designate at least one new National Park in Scotland in this Parliament, the Scottish Government are now asking for views on National Parks generally.  

NatureScot have been asked to look at a framework for selecting a potential park and will report in October.  When this is published there will be a further consultation on the framework.
